NCA Picnic

Our picnic for 2006 was held again at Barb & Wiley Geren's home in Old Homosassa with Wiley, June Medeiros, Sandy Mello,

Bob Schaefer, and Ron Pierson cooking and serving the food.

We had over one hundred for our picnic this year and the threat of rain all day, but the rain never made it, and all had a very good time.

After the food was devoured and all started to recover from the wonderful meal, it was time to face the nasty casting contest with its lure eating tree. As the line judge and his callers, called up the contestants, ladies first for the lure eating tree and the nasty casting contest.

and then it was the gentlemen's turn at the lure eating tree or breaking the fishing pole right off the bat   When all was repaired, others got their chance in the nasty casting contest.

When all were done the winners were:

Ladies: Rita Smith   Gift Certificate to Bealls

                                                                        Not Related

Men: Gary Smith Gift Certificate to Outcast Fly Shop

 

When all was done and Jerry & Wiley looked over the paper work the party came to an end.

NCA PICNIC

Our picnic was held at Wiley and Barbara Geren's home,

with Wiley, Ron Pierson & June Medeiros doing the cooking     

Sixty Six members attended, with all

having a supper good time and a delicious barbecued pork dinner. 

Every one entered the men and women's casting contest  

with our President Jerry Rieman doing his best to keep the the scores

with a little help of course.

  I did not win it again this year, but we enjoyed the company of all. 

Thank you Russ, Wiley, Barb, June, Ron from all.

            They danced the night away after the ladies

        received their door prizes
