Our membership application consists of two (2 ) pages, which you must fill out in full, and turn in at the monthly meeting in person, which is held on the first Thursday of every month. Meetings are located at the Homosassa Civic Association building in Old Homosassa, starting at 7:00 PM. E-mail any of the officers if you need more information who are listed under contacts on the opening page of our website.
CRITERIA FOR PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS
Prospective Members Must
- Own or have unlimited access to a fishing boat 13ft. or longer, propelled by an inboard or outboard engine, to join the club without a sponsor.
- Be sponsored by a current member in good standing who owns a fishing boat as described above if they are non-boat owners.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Be a full time resident of Florida, residing in the state for 12 months
- Fish an average of at least 2 days per month prior to applying for membership.
- Have a valid Florida fishing license.
- Have their own fishing equipment, rods, reels, etc.
- Be enthusiastic about fishing, agree to participate in club activities, be willing to serve on committees as needed, and contribute to the clubs overall success.
You must fish at least 2 of the fishing outings or tournaments, plus attend 4 regular meetings in the course of the fiscal year. ( Mandatory)
Social Events are excluded.
